Real ID Act
The so-called Real ID Act (now Public Law 109-13) creates what is in effect a
national ID card, establishes uniform and rigorous procedures for verifying a
person's ID at the time the card is issued, and creates a permanent digital database
of the documents that define a person's identity. This is going to cause problems for
many trans, genderqueer and intersex people!
