Each fall semester at Michigan State University, the LBGT Resource Center offers a weekly program for first-year LGBTQ+ college students. The goal of the program is to enhance the experience of first-year LGBTQ+ students at the university through community building, interactive learning, and goal setting strategies.

What will I gain out of being in the program?
- New friends and mentors;
- Learn more about university services and resources;
- Learn more about student organizations;
- Develop a personal action plan to achieve your goals for your first year of college; and,
- A space to talk about your various identities
How often does New2U happen? Every week! The group meets every Tuesday at 7:30 PM. Location is in Erickson, Room 128. The first New2U meeting of the year will take place on Tuesday, September 4th.
