2007 National Coming Out Days at MSU

Most of these events are organized by student LBGTA organizations. All members and allies of these student communities are invited to attend! Any changes or additional details will appear here as received.

Sat, Oct 6, [Un]mask Ball, Kellogg Center Red Cedar Room, 9:00 pm - midnight
A mysterious evening of fireside dancing and un-masking of one's true self. Wear a mask and be prepared to shed it. Sponsored by the Alliance, RING and Spectrum.
Sun, Oct 7, Ma Vie en Rose, 441 Union, 7:00 pm
Showing of Ma Vie en Rose. In the words of the movie's tagline: "Sometimes you just have to be yourself." Sponsored by TransAction.
Mon, Oct 8, Indigenous People's Day, 6:00 pm
Meet in front of the Main Library at the fountain to hear speakers from the Native community and their allies speak on issues or contributions of Native peoples. The group will then march to the Rock on Farm Lane and enjoy Native drumming and singing. Sponsored by NAISO.

Grand opening of PRISM's office in south complex. E-4 Wilson Hall is on the east side of the Wilson basement. Open house style; please drop on by!

Visibility is the name of the game! Watch the MSU Homecoming Parade and show your rainbow colors! (If you're marching in the parade, it forms on Abbott Road in front of Hannah Community Center.)
Sat, Oct 13, Homecoming Saturday
The GLBT Alumni Association is hosting a homecoming reception at the MSU Kellogg Center, 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. (More information on their website. There is a cost for this event.)
Tailgating, 1:00 pm. Tennis courts across from Wilson Hall. Join student leaders for alcohol-free grillin' and fun before the game! GO STATE!
